Imperial VFD

On 08-05-09 Station 152 was dispatched to a car on fire on Rt.60 North between the Airport exit and McClaren exit. 152 C-2 called in service to the scene. 152 Engine 5,6, called in service both with full crews. C-2 arrived on scene and advised that there was a working car fire.  152 Engine 6 arrived on scene and started to put the car out.  Command (C-2) had Engine 5 pull behind Engine 6 to protected the firefighters from traffic and also send up Engine 5 man power. About 1 hour and Rt. 60 was opened up to both lanes.
